SLOW DOWN Pt. 6: Who’s Setting Your Pace?

Why are you in such a hurry? In Part 6 of the SLOW DOWN series, Pastor Rob addresses anxiety, hurry, and the pressures that can cause us to move at a pace God never asked us to keep. Through Isaiah 35:4, we’re reminded, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come.”

Discontentment, impatience, jealousy, discomfort, and even the pressure to please or impress others can cause us to rush ahead. But this message challenges us to shift our focus back to God, trust Him more than what we feel or see, and allow Him to set our pace.

Through Psalm 16, Jeremiah 17, Philippians 4, and other Scriptures, Pastor Rob reminds us that God knows exactly where we are. We don’t have to rush His timing.

So ask yourself: Who are you trying to please—and why are you in such a hurry?
