Control What You Can Control

Pastor Luke teaches from Mark 4 about the condition of our hearts and how we receive the Word of God. God is speaking, but are we listening and positioned to receive what He is saying? Like a farmer tending the soil, we can prepare our hearts, plant the seed, and remain receptive—but God is the One who produces the growth.

Pastor Luke challenges us to take a “soil test”: How are you listening? How are you receiving from the Lord? We can’t control the growth, but we can control the posture of our hearts. Break up the hard soil, receive the Word, and trust God with the growth.
